Emergency Funding
Apply for financial assistance when an emergency arises and it’s out of your control. A financial coach will contact you to find resources to help.
Process
Funds are limited. Completing this application does not guarantee approval. Maximum amount per student per year is $500.
This application will be reviewed by a committee and decisions are based on each student's individual circumstance, if the emergency is out of a student's control, and if a student is receiving other support and assistance from other departments on campus.
This is not for ongoing financial needs or tuition & fees.
To Be Considered
In order to be considered for emergency funding, you will need to:
- Be attending classes in the current semester/block.
- You will need to schedule an appointment with the point person after completing this application.
- Provide documentation of emergency to support your request.
If approved, funding may then take around 5-7 business days, not including holidays. The funds must be accepted in Scholarship Universe and a thank you letter is required before disbursement. Your banking institution's processes may also cause delay.
