Sarah Wright is the founder and CEO of Utah Clean Energy, a non-partisan nonprofit driving innovative clean energy and climate solutions in Utah since 2001. Against all odds, she has built Utah Clean Energy from an all-volunteer grassroots group into one of the most influential and impactful climate organizations in the West. Under her leadership, Utah Clean Energy has accelerated the adoption of clean energy, energy efficiency, and electric vehicles solutions across the state. Her success lies in a steadfast belief that failure on climate is simply not an option. Sarah is known for her ability to forge powerful partnerships, and bring together elected leaders, utilities, businesses, and community groups to find common ground and enact meaningful climate policies. With a background in environmental consulting, and degrees in geology and public health, Sarah is a trusted, expert voice advocating to make Utah the conservative state that leads the nation in climate action.
