Respectful Participation Policy

The Intermountain Sustainability Summit is committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants. We expect everyone—attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and staff—to treat each other with courtesy and professionalism. Harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. Anyone engaging in such behavior may be asked to leave the event without a refund.
Our community thrives when we listen, collaborate, and show respect for one another. Thank you for helping us maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere.

  • On or before Friday, March 6, 2026, a member of the general public will receive a fifty percent (50%) refund; and
  • On or after Saturday, March 7, 2026, there are no refunds; however, a member of the general public may request that their registration be transferred to another party. By accepting the transferred registration, the other party acknowledges and agrees to comply with all the terms and conditions of the original registration.

Exhibitor Refund Policy

Any exhibitor may request a refund by contacting the ISS Planning Team at sparc@weber.edu and/or 801-626-6310 and by providing the name of the registrant, card holder (if different), and confirmation number. The refund will be credited to the card on which the purchase was originally made.

Refunds will be granted according to the following deadlines and conditions:

  • On or before Friday, February 20, 2026, exhibitors will receive a fifty percent (50%) refund; and
  • On or after Saturday, February 21, 2026, there are no refunds, except in cases where the ISS Planning Team determines that an exhibitor does not align with the ISS objectives, as described below. However, the exhibitor's booth registration may be transferred to another party through Friday, March 6. By accepting the transferred registration, the other party acknowledges and agrees to comply with all the terms and conditions of the original registration. Note: No changes will be made to the program, as it will have already been finalized by this date.
  • We welcome exhibitors in alignment with the objectives of the ISS. To maintain this focus, all exhibitors are subject to approval by the ISS Planning Team. If an exhibitor's products, services, or messaging are determined to not align, the exhibitor will be notified by Friday, March 6, 2026, or within two weeks of registering (which ever is later). Any exhibitors determined not to be in alignment with the ISS programing, will be removed from the program, and receive a full refund.

Promotion Code Use

Some of our participants such as students with scholarships and others will be given promotional codes to reduce the amount of their registration. These codes are made available to specific groups or individuals to apply to specific registration categories. If a promotional code is used for a category or person for which it was not intended the registration will not be valid, until the proper sum is paid. To ensure that the Intermountain Sustainability Summit may continue to be offered to our community, please do not share codes with others.

ISS Newsletter

When you register for the ISS, you will be added to the ISS newsletter list and will receive event updates. These may include keynote speaker announcements, workshop and session descriptions, Eco Expo and Student Poster Contest updates, as well as calls for speaker proposals in coming years. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time, but we invite you to stay informed.
