Piper Christian is the Climate and Air Quality Policy Associate at Stewardship Utah. In this role, she works closely with state and local elected officials to craft policies to reduce climate and health-harming air emissions within Utah. In 2025, Piper worked with state legislators to pass HB 420 Halogen Emission Amendments, a landmark bill to dramatically cut emissions from US Magnesium, the biggest polluter of chlorine and bromine in the United States. Outside of work, Piper loves skiing and hiking in the Wasatch mountains and camping in Utah's deserts.
