Rick Ziegler is a building science consultant specializing in the design and rehabilitation of building envelope systems. With over 15 years of experience, he has consulted on a broad range of existing and new buildings in various climate zones within North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. His work includes assessments, forensic investigations, façade and roof design, design reviews, specification development, and construction administration. Rick is frequently requested to work with design teams for his expertise in conceptual design, systems selection, and performance evaluation. He has also worked with several institutional owners to help establish building envelope performance goals and he was a contributor to the State of Utah’s High Performance Building Standard.
