Senior Associate - Electrification, Utah Clean Energy

Kelbe works with a diverse set of partners to inform, educate, and build support for electrifying Utah’s transportation and building sectors and works to ensure electrification policies and programs are developed to be equitable and inclusive for Utah consumers and communities. Kelbe previously worked with a local nonprofit focused on advancing alternative fuel solutions. Kelbe worked as a public health consultant where she focused on federal and local policy issues and provided research and expertise related to the social determinants of health.

Kelbe graduated with a Master of Public Policy and Master of Public Health from the University of Utah. Her graduate work was largely focused on the relationship between structural and societal factors and public health, including the built environment, air quality, and access to green space. She is a member of the Glendale Community Council Arts Committee where she is supporting community art projects. Kelbe is enthusiastic about mitigating the climate crisis through both policy and outreach, and is excited about the opportunity to transform Utah’s transportation and building sectors for a cleaner environment and healthier communities.
