Katie joined the Mayor's Office in 2022, bringing with her 10 years of experience working within the non-profit and public sector. Most frequently focused on outdoor recreation, natural resource management, inclusion and community placemaking. Throughout her career, Katie has overseen business development and sales operations for non-profits, supported marketing and communications, managed federal grant implementation and provided support to advocacy and partnership development efforts. She has developed several new program models for military service members, people with disabilities and volunteerism focused on community and conservation. As a Utah native, she loves being outdoors and recreating in it whenever possible with her wife and daughter.
