Chimalli Hernandez, a distinguished professional with a background in Urban Ecology and City & Metropolitan Planning, holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Utah. Chimalli joined the Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office in 2022. Throughout his career, Chimalli has primarily worked to research and create innovative solutions related to public health, conservation, land stewardship, and community engagement. He loves creating new connections in the communities he serves. Chimalli strives to engage, elevate, and support underrepresented communities in reaching their shared vision.
