Wildcat Accounts

All WSU faculty, staff, and students must create a Wildcat username and password in order to access the eWeber portal and other Weber services.  Your Wildcat Account will be used for many things including:

  • eWeber Portal
  • University Email
  • Canvas (WSU Online)
  • Wireless Internet
  • Computer Labs

Create Your Account

To create your username for the first time, access the Get Your Wildcat Username page.  Your Wildcat username will be assigned to you and is generally your first and last name together with no space (e.g. waldowildcat).

Manage Your Password

To manage your Wildcat password, use Password Self-Service.  For more detailed information about managing your password, access the Wildcat Passwords page.

Access eWeber

The eWeber portal provides 24-hour access to many Weber State services and is a primary mode of communication between the University and you.  For an intro to eWeber, check out the eWeber Portal Guide.  You can access eWeber from any device that has an internet connection by going to: www.weber.edu

For mobile devices, check out our Weber State Mobile app.

Access Your University Email

Every Wildcat Account includes access to a University email address through which you will get official WSU electronic information. University email addresses comes in two forms:

Student Wildcat Mail

Faculty/Staff Email

  • Email address: YourUsername@weber.edu
  • Landing page: gmail.weber.edu
  • Direct access: wmail.weber.edu
  • Retirees can be granted lifetime access by request

Note that new email accounts can take an extra business day to be created after a new Wildcat Account is created.

All University email services are hosted by Google Gmail and include access to other Google services such as Google Calendar to organize your schedule and Google Drive to store your files in the cloud.

If you require assistance or have further questions, please contact the IT Service Desk.

What Is Your W#?

Your W# is not the same as your Wildcat username. Your W# is an 8-digit identity number (e.g. W12345678) that never changes which Weber State uses to identify you in our administrative database.

Most systems will require your Wildcat username instead of your W# although some areas like Testing Centers will ask for your W#.

Your W# can be found online by logging into the eWeber portal, clicking the user icon in the upper-right and selecting Show W#.
