What will I learn in the program?

Business Administration students participate in a broad course of study that includes exposure to all of the functional areas of business, including finance, human resource management, management, marketing and supply chain management.

Finance students learn to conduct detailed financial analyses, relate the financial environment of an organization to its policies, and select and analyze investment opportunities for individuals and organizations.

Human Resource Management students learn how to apply the latest employment laws and cutting-edge technology to the areas of recruiting, hiring, compensation and benefits, training and negotiations. Human resource professionals are business partners, advising top management, supervisors and employees on ways to increase workplace efficiency and achieve their strategic goals.

Management students learn to understand the complex and dynamic nature of organizations of all types. Further, they develop the ability to perform situational analyses, interact effectively with individuals and groups, and make decisions within the organizational context.

Marketing is the business function that generates a company’s revenue. Marketing students learn about buyer behavior, product development, promotion, pricing, distribution strategies, and how to apply marketing research.
