Professor of Business Administration
Office: WB 242 BSAD 1010-Introduction to Business Dr. Davis currently serves as a Professor of Business Administration and Century Institute Scholar in the Goddard School. One of his previous assignments was as a special assistant to the university president. While at the university, Dr. Davis has received the Crystal Crest Master Teacher Award, the Centennial Faculty Award in Teaching, the George and Elizabeth Lowe Teaching Award, and the University Academic Advising Award. He has also received several awards for research and service, including the Willard L. Eccles Research Fellowship, the Dee Smith Research Fellowship, the Delma Grimm Fellowship, and the Hemingway Faculty Vitality Award. His research has been published in a variety of refereed academic journals. A complete listing of his publications, credentials, and professional affiliations can be found in his Curriculum Vitae. Dr. Davis teaches over 700 students each year in his popular Introduction to Business course. His current teaching and research interests relate to family business, stakeholder analysis, corporate moral responsibility, and business ethics. In addition to his other university assignments, Brian directs the Religion & Ethics Resource Network and leads a weekly seminar on religion and ethics through the University Diversity Center. |
