- Successful applicants will demonstrate clarity of purpose in their language studies. Majors with upper division standing will be given priority, but all language students are eligible to apply.
- No funds may be applied retroactively.
- All decisions are final.
- Individuals may receive more than one award while at WSU, but they must be enrolled in foreign language courses at the time of application.
- Travel funds must be used in conjunction with Weber State sponsored study abroad programs.
- In years when no study abroad program is available in a given language, students may use funds for programs resulting in credits being transferable to WSU.
- Funds cannot be awarded for travel carrying no academic credit.
