Weber State University announces 2026-27 Browning Presents! season
OGDEN, Utah — Weber State University’s Telitha E. Lindquist College of Arts & Humanities has announced its 2026-27 Browning Presents! season, bringing acclaimed writers, artists, scholars, and performers to northern Utah. Most events are free, and all are open to the public.
Weber State’s Browning Presents! brings nationally recognized voices to the community, offering audiences new ways to experience and think about the world around them. Events take place at Weber State’s Val A. Browning Center, the Shepherd Union Building, and The Monarch in downtown Ogden.
“We are so fortunate to bring such a wide range of thinkers and creatives to our campus,” said Deborah Uman, dean of the Lindquist College of Arts & Humanities. “Audiences are sure to find messages that resonate and to learn new ways to approach the big questions of our day.”

Phil Klay, award-winning author of Uncertain Ground: Citizenship in an Age of Endless, Invisible War and Redeployment: Oct. 8, 7:30 p.m.

American Patchwork Quartet & Fabiola Méndez, presented in partnership with Onstage Ogden: Oct. 14, 7:30 p.m.

Manual Cinema’s The 4th Witch, a shadow puppetry reimagining of Shakespeare’s Macbeth: Nov. 3, 7:30 p.m.

Roosevelt Montás, author of Rescuing Socrates: February 11, 7:30 p.m.

TJ Klune, author of The House in the Cerulean Sea and other beloved fantasy novels: March 16, 7:30 p.m.
