Faculty/Staff Development Subcommittee

Purpose

The Faculty/Staff Development subcommittee is charged with creating and promoting a culture of student success. This committee is responsible for facilitating and perpetuating the best practices in hiring and retaining student success focused staff and faculty. This committee will focus on developing best practices for faculty and staff to engage in recruitment, enrollment and retention by:

• Developing and communicating a foundational understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Developing Teaching and Learning Forum strategies to support faculty efforts in inclusive teaching, student engagement and retention.
• Researching, planning and implementing professional development, training and mentoring opportunities.
