Union Gallery Crew Application
Union Gallery Crew applications are now available! The crew consists of a Student Director and two Gallery Crew Members. The Union Art Gallery Crew is tasked with curating exhibits in the Shepherd Union Gallery each month throughout the academic year.

Shepherd Union Gallery Student Director
Eligibility:
Any student in the Art & Design Department who is not participating in work study is welcome.
Preference will be given to those with experience in installing and exhibiting artwork, as well as to individuals with strong organizational and communication skills.
Term Length:
1 calendar year
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and communicate with artists, departments, and community members involved in exhibitions.
- Assist with the installation of exhibitions.
- Serve on the Gallery Committee and participate in committee meetings.
- Manage a team of two peer assistants.
- Oversee gallery supplies, including paint, bulbs, patching materials, and hanging supplies; request orders for any necessary items.
- Organize catering for exhibition openings and attend the receptions.
- Work hours are flexible and can vary each week to accommodate the student’s schedule.
- Total commitment of 50-80 hours per year.

Eligibility:
Faculty or staff across all departments and colleagues
Term Length:
1 calendar year
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Attend all gallery committee meetings.
- Contribute to discussions about upcoming gallery exhibits.
