Creative Projects
UCUR 2026 will provide an opportunity for performance and display of creative works in Music, Theatre, Dance, Art & Design, Film, and Intermedia.

Visual Art Presentations (Drawing, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Ceramics)
- Visual arts projects will be displayed with poster presentations. Presenters are expected to stand by their project and explain their intent and process.
- Table and easels will be provided.

Performances
- Presenters will introduce their work with a 5 minute synopsis of research and intent, creative process, and concluding evaluation and significance to the field.
- Performances must not be more than 10 minutes (15 minutes total including set up/take down of sets).

Author Guidelines for Creative Submissions
- Abstract submissions must:
- State the central research question or creative intent of the research.
- Provide a brief discussion of the creative process and methodology.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of the creative work and significance to the field.
- Be well organized.
- Other formatting guidelines:
- Abstracts should be no more than 400 words in length.
- Have the following information available when submitting your abstract:
- Name and e-mail address for each faculty mentor and co-author.
- Presentation type: Dance, Music, Theatre, Visual Art & Design, Film, Intermedia.
- Names of performers will be submitted upon acceptance of abstract.
