Students who participate in this study abroad program will be able to register for up to seven (7) credits though Weber State University in:

  • CS 4760 (4) - 2nd Block Summer (CRN 12671)
  • and/or completing elective courses offered by ICT Finland (noting 3 EU credits transfer back as 1.5 WSU elective credits, with pre-approval from the program or department). For example, if a student is seeking three (3) additional WSU elective credits, beyond Dr. Fry's CS 4760, they would need to sign up for two (2) ICT courses.  If students are not taking Dr. Fry's CS 4760 course, they can independently register for up to four (4) ICT classes and receive up to six (6) WSU transfer elective credits (with pre-approval from the associated program or department).  ICT Tuition-free priority registration associated with this Study Abroad is May 1st - May 31st on a first come first served basis. Here is a link to courses they are offering ICT August Summer School Courses (may reflect a Summer 2022 sampling, and will not be official until the 2023 schedule is published).

Trip Cancellations

If Weber State cancels a trip for any reason, all participants will be refunded 100% of funds paid to the school. If a participant withdraws from the program for any reason, they are subject to the refund policy found on the first page of the application.  Deposits are always non-refundable, unless the program is canceled by Weber State.  No refunds will be issued 30 days prior to program start date.

Refunds will NOT be given to students due to COVID-19 concerns. Before programs were canceled in 2020, every student was given the option to withdraw from programs without penalty due to COVID-19. This year students are applying, cognizant of the pandemic. Weber State will not intentionally place students into high risk situations. We will work together with Program Leaders and Departments on canceling should the destination demonstrate increased risks, be they from COVID or any other concern. As such, students must abide by the standard refund policy.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Study Abroad Office at (801) 626-8715.
