Mark O. Bigler, LCSW, PhD, is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Social Work and Gerontology. He is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and sex therapist and has worked with couples in private practice for several years. In addition, he has devoted a good share of his professional life to HIV/AIDS prevention and clinical services in Utah and New York City in both substance abuse treatment and AIDS services settings. His professional and research interests include: human sexuality, sexual functioning and sex therapy, sexual aggression, sex guilt and religion, gender issues, HIV/AIDS, harm reduction, substance use/abuse, and technology in higher education.
