• Must be a citizen/affidavit
• Must be a full-time student (12-18 credit hours)
• Must major in social work or sociology (one award is available in each area)
• Minimum 3.0 GPA

Application Process

• A one-page essay answering: Why did you choose social work or sociology as a major? What are your plans after graduation? What social issues do you feel strongly about? What would your contributions be to affect change?
• Also include your full name, phone number, address, W#, student email address and name of scholarship.
• Your unofficial WSU transcript (available in your eWeber portal).
