HCA Caregivers of Tomorrow Sponsorship

HCA Healthcare is committed to helping the next generation of caregivers launch a rewarding career in healthcare. In partnership with Weber State University, HCA is offering a scholarship program (up to $10,000) for full- or part-time, benefits eligible current and future employees.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Must be accepted into the Medical Laboratory Sciences, Radiologic Sciences, or the Respiratory Therapy program at Weber State University
  • Employed full-time or part-time (36 hours/pay period) at one of the eight MountainStar hospitals in Utah and is in good standing. New HCA employees may apply for sponsorship on day one of employment!

    • Cache Valley Hospital
    • Lakeview Hospital
    • Lone Peak Hospital
    • Mountain View Hospital
    • Ogden Regional Medical Center
    • St. Mark's Hospital
    • Timpanogos Regional Hospital
  • Maintain full-time or part-time status throughout completion of the program

APPLY

Include your full name, email, school name, supervisor name, phone number, and which program you are enrolled in (Medical Laboratory Sciences, Radiology Sciences or Respiratory Therapy).

Your application must include:

  • Your most recent transcript, if applicable
  • Recommendation letter from academic institution or immediate supervisor
  • Most recent annual evaluation, if applicable
  • Two reference letters from non-family members that validate your overall academic achievement, career goals, and community involvement
  • Personal statement explaining desire for sponsorship and professional goals
  • Any volunteer/community service

Application Deadlines

HCA Healthcare's hospital and division sponsorship review committees meet monthly to review applications on a rolling basis. Upon submission, applications are reviewed for the next admissions cycle of new student enrollment. If you are a current student already, a review will occur within three weeks of submission.
