Medical Laboratory Sciences Bachelor of Science - Campus

The Weber State Medical Laboratory Sciences programs follow a stacked-credentials module. The four-year curriculum is structured in two stages: the Associate of Applied Science program, which leads to the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) credential, and the Bachelor of Science program, which builds on that foundation and awards the Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) credential.

Students must first complete the Associate of Applied Science MLT program to be accepted into the Bachelor of Science MLS program at Weber State. Up to 32 students are accepted each year to the BS MLS Campus program.

After graduation, students can work in a variety of high-demand and growing healthcare settings, such as clinics, hospitals and physician practices, research institutions, pharmaceutical and forensic labs and veterinary clinics.
