Why Medical Laboratory Sciences?

Medical laboratory scientists, or medical technologists, spend most of their time in a lab helping patients. As of spring 2025, Weber State students have a pass rate of 87% on the MLS Certificate as well as 94% with the MLT certificate and many participate in undergraduate research which helps develop community knowledge and detect factors in diseases.
