Application Deadline

Note on Decision Timelines: To guarantee your admission decision by the dates listed below, your application must be fully complete. This includes the submission of all transcripts, letters of recommendation, and supplemental materials. Applications missing required documents will be moved to the following round for review.

Application Requirements

• Transcripts

  You must submit official transcripts of your academic record from all previous colleges or universities you attended. Sending transcripts electronically is preferred. If the college or university provides this option, they can send your transcript to our enrollment director.

  If the college or university does not provide this option, request that the official transcripts be sent to our admissions office address:

  If your transcripts are sent directly to you, forward them unopened in their original sealed envelope to the address above. Weber State transcripts do not need to be sent in.

• Essay

  Within the application, you will be prompted to complete an essay. Please follow the instructions in the online application to upload your completed essay.

• Resume

  The online application will require you to upload a current resume or curriculum vitae. Uploading your resume in a PDF format is preferred.

• Letters of Recommendation

  As part of the application, you will be prompted to provide contact information for at least two individuals who will provide your recommendations. These individuals will receive an automatically generated email to bring them to an evaluation form. To complete this portion of the application, the applicant will need the name and email address of each person making a recommendation.

  The MHA Admissions Committee suggests that you request these recommendations early in the application process to ensure they arrive before the next application deadline. By requesting online recommendations, you have waived your right to see the content of the recommendations and understand that the recommendations will remain confidential to the admissions committee by each recommender.

• Supplemental Information

  During the online application, you will be allowed to further explain any academic, work, or personal areas that will impact the acceptance of your application. Examples of these extenuating circumstances or concerns can include your academic performance as an accurate measure of your potential, unexplained gaps in your work experience, or unexplained gaps in your academic experience. 

  The MHA Admissions Committee will see explanations. If needed, please elaborate in a separate Word document and upload the file with your online application.
