French Highlights

Weber State’s French program is almost entirely proficiency-driven, and gives you the chance to learn from professors with a variety of research interests and united by their extensive training in teaching the reading, writing and speaking skills you need to excel in French-speaking surroundings.

Beyond the Classroom

As a French major, you can meet your peers and improve your French skills in Weber State’s French Club.

You can also immerse yourself in French speaking and culture through internships and study abroad opportunities.

Through courses in literature, culture, linguistics and language for professional purposes, you’ll be prepared to function effectively in a French-speaking environment. We also offer a commercial emphasis if you are pursuing a business career.
