Studying Chinese at Weber State

Weber State’s associate’s degree in Chinese teaches you the fundamentals of the Chinese language and culture while you prepare for bachelor’s degree-level studies.

Chinese Highlights

Weber State offers one of the few Associate of Arts in Chinese in the United States.

In addition to your classroom study of Chinese, you’ll have the opportunity to work with the community or study abroad to practice your language skills in real-life settings.

What You’ll LEARN at Weber

In Weber State’s Chinese program, you’ll develop your skills in speaking, reading and writing Chinese. By the end of the program, you’ll be able to speak Chinese at an intermediate level.

What You CAN DO After Weber

You’ll be prepared to pursue upper-division classes in a bachelor’s degree program. With a background in Chinese, you can choose from a variety of career fields, including:
