Curriculum
Master of Accounting (MAcc) courses are conveniently taught at Weber State Davis in the late afternoons and evenings to meet your schedule better. Each course is typically offered once per year, so it is essential to develop a course plan that meets all requirements in time for graduation. There is no required sequence of courses so you can enter the program any semester.
You'll take courses such as:

*One elective must be an MTax course, but others may be from MTax or MAcc courses.
Program Length
The Master of Accounting (MAcc) program entails a minimum of two semesters of full-time study for a student with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Students with other business-related degrees can expect to spend about two years in the program. Those with non-business-related undergraduate degrees should plan to spend at least three years in the program.
Scholarships
The School of Accounting and Taxation offers several tuition waivers and private scholarships for MAcc students. Scholarships are awarded three times a year to students for each upcoming semester based on criteria including but not limited to GPA, GMAT scores, program participation and individual scholarship criteria.
We have limited funds for our most qualified students in the MAcc program. Students must apply for scholarships they are interested in per semester to be considered.
Admission Requirements for the Master of Accounting Program
Prospective students can learn more about requirements they'll need to meet in order to apply to the program. Each application is thoroughly reviewed by the MAcc Admissions Committee.
Notification of Admissions Decision
Decisions are made only after thoughtful weighing of all the evidence provided to us by each candidate and careful consideration of the overall balance of participants we seek for the MAcc program. Applicants can typically expect an admission decision within three weeks of submitting a completed application.

- Fall Entrance: Aug. 1
- To be considered for a scholarship, the application must be complete with all documents received by June 1.
- Spring Entrance: Dec. 1
- To be considered for a scholarship, the application must be complete with all documents received by October 1.
- Summer Entrance: April 1
- To be considered for a scholarship, the application must be complete with all documents received by February 1.
