Energize the Future Summer Camps
Students ages 15-18 will dive into the physics of energy and efficiency through exciting, hands-on challenges. They will compete in teams to test their understanding of force, motion, and energy transfer. On the final day, students will participate in a Development Day to explore diverse career paths in energy engineering, discover the skills and education needed to succeed, and learn how engineers are shaping the future of energy. This day also includes a guided tour of energy projects on WSU’s campus.

Jr. High Summer Camp (August 3-7, 2026)
Students ages 12-14 will apply engineering principles to create energy projects powered by wind, water, and homemade batteries. Supported by professional engineers, they’ll collaborate in teams on hands-on activities to design their final projects. On the last day, industry professionals will introduce students to exciting career opportunities in sustainable energy, the skills and education required, and how engineers are shaping the future of energy. The day also features a guided tour of energy projects on WSU’s campus.
