Brian Emerson is founder and lead organizer of New Economy Wasatch Front (NEWFront). NEWFront is an emerging initiative that promotes transformative solutions for building more just, democratic, and sustainable economies along the Wasatch Front. Brian has over fifteen years of experience working on sustainability and social equity projects in the nonprofit and public sectors, both locally and internationally. He has a Master’s degree in Political Ecology, Degrowth and Environmental Justice and is currently completing a second Master’s degree in the Economics of Sustainability.
