Alexis Lee is the inaugural Environmental and Social Sustainability Director for U of U Health. Alexis holds an HBS in Exercise and Sport Science and a BA in Health, Society and Policy. Alexis obtained her MBA with a Certificate in Sustainability. She is also a LEED Green Associate, Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting Credential Holder, and a Global Reporting Initiative Certified Sustainability Professional. Alexis has worked within U of U Health for 7 years; through her various roles she has built expertise in addressing social determinants of health, wellness & integrative health, staff engagement and community outreach. Alexis is passionate about pursuing sustainable actions to protect people, public health, and the natural world. In her free time, you’ll find Alexis backcountry skiing with friends and converting her yard into a permaculture-based food forest with her husband.
