– Purchasing with a Purpose: State of Utah Development of a Green Purchasing Program
A Utah native who had the privilege to attend the University of Utah to achieve her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability and her Professional Masters of Science and Technology degree in Environmental Science with an emphasis in Public Health. She began her professional career as Environmental Coordinator at Utah’s Hogle Zoo, being responsible for the Zoo’s sustainability initiatives, programming, and outreach. Now, for the past two years, she has had the great honor of working for the State of Utah in the Department of Administrative Services as the Coordinator of Resource Stewardship. In this role she works alongside state agencies to further promote partnerships and develop relationships both within and outside state government to develop air quality best practices for the State of Utah.
