About Us

Mission Statement

Our office seeks to facilitate learning, understanding, and options in order to foster a campus free from discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct.

About our Office

The Office of Equal Opportunity provides supportive measures for those who have been impacted by discrimination, harassment, or sexual misconduct, and provides options for addresing potential violations of University policy.  Supportive measures may include assistance with academic matters, financial aid, scheduling, counseling, no contact directives, and more.

Retaliation against any person involved in the complaint or investigative process is not tolerated and may constitute a separate violation of University policy.

There are several potential options available to individuals who raise concerns about discrimination, harassment, or sexual misconduct, including helping find someone to talk to, navigating informal resolution, or moving to a more formal investigative process.

Equal Opportunity

Regulations for equal employment opportunity also recognize that all qualified job applicants will be considered for employment at Weber State University regardless of their race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
