High School Jumpstart Business Competition fosters and promotes business growth at the high school level by giving students a chance to organize, direct, and present a business idea to a panel of expert judges. This contest provides teams with an educational forum to prepare them for the competition and will aid them in the creation and implementation of their business plan.

HIGH SCHOOL JUMPSTART
High School Jumpstart Competition is a business competition open to all students attending high school in the state of Utah (grades 9-12). Individuals or teams can submit entries. The competition fosters and promotes business growth at the high school level by giving students a chance to organize, direct, and present a business idea to a panel of expert judges.

HOW TO APPLY
To apply, fill out the registration form and upload a video. Videos can be basic by featuring the student or student team, providing a brief explanation of their business or idea. For rules and regulations, check out the full information packet. Questions? Email us at entrepreneurship@weber.edu.

WHATS IN IT FOR ME?
A cash prize of $7,500 will be awarded to the individual/team judged to have presented the most plausible and promising business idea or opportunity. Cash prizes of $5,000 and $2,000 will be awarded to the second and third place individuals/teams, respectively.
