Dress Code and Packing List

Dress Code

This is what must be worn every day in the welding lab. This is to protect you from any sparks. However, because you will be wearing long pants and sleeves you will be warm. We will have water available but please make sure to take breaks and keep yourself hydrated.

The following must be worn every day:

• Closed shoes
• Cotton blend clothing
• Long sleeves and pants
• NO synthetic material (synthetic material can burn into your skin)
• Hair pulled back

Suggested Packing List

• Any medication you need. We cannot give you anything, not even aspirin
• Toiletry items:
  • Soap
  • Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Towel
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Face Wash
  • Lotion
  • Deodorant
  • Hair products
  • Sunscreen
• Phone Charger
• Pillow and Blanket (a very light blanket is provided)
• Pajamas
• Water Bottle
• Optional Items:
  • Welding projects you would like to work on (robot part, etc.)
  • Games
  • Snacks/food
