Academics

At Weber State, students not only find what they’re looking for academically — we have 225+ certificate and degree programs and 13 graduate programs — they also find professors who put teaching first. Our small classes give Wildcats big opportunities to discover their passions, research topics from anthropology to zoology and change the world through service learning.

Location

We are nestled at the base of the Wasatch Mountains in Ogden, Utah — a vibrant and diverse city that has earned a national reputation as a great place to live, raise a family and do business. Northern Utah offers outdoor recreation activities for all four seasons, as well as world-class culture, arts and sports.

Arts & Culture

Our beautiful visual and performing arts venues allow students and acclaimed artists alike to showcase their creativity. The Val A. Browning Center for the Performing Arts hosts about 350 events and welcomes nearly 30,000 patrons annually, while the Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery engages audiences through diverse programs and exhibitions.

Athletics

Wildcat Athletics features 16 Division I NCAA teams. A charter member of the Big Sky Conference, our teams have claimed 11 regular-season titles and six conference tournament championships since 2012-13 — plus a top-5 national finish for football in 2017.
