Intro to Google Slides

In this video, we will cover how to create a new presentation, format slides, export presentations, and present our finished project. These objectives will help us put together professional slides to present information on a specific topic.

Formatting Slides

In this video we will format the slides in a presentation. We will customize the background of our presentation, change line and paragraph spacing on a slide, and add bullet points to another slide.

Creating Tables, Charts, and SmartArt Graphics

In this video we will insert and format a table, a chart, and SmartArt in a Google Slide presentation.

Slides Modifications

In this video, we will first use the spell check tool to correct any spelling errors. Second, we will use the find tool to locate the text we want to update. Third, we will modify the size and position of a text box. And fourth, we will change the slide order in the presentation as well as duplicate and copy slides.

Applying Animations

In this video, we will look at a slide with animations applied to its items and see how they can add to a presentation. We will then add animations to different elements in another slide. We will also adjust the start of the animations and the duration.

Multiple Element Animation

Throughout this video, we will make various modifications to our image animations and text animations. First, we will adjust the timing and direction of our animations. Second, we will change how the animations will be prompted to start. Finally, we will alter the order of our animations and delete any that we do not want to keep.

Inserting Elements

In this video, we are going to create a short presentation about the solar system using Google Slides. We will insert images from our computer as well as online. We will also insert shapes, text boxes, and SmartArt. We will then format all of these elements to suit our presentation.

Create Action Buttons

In this video we will create action buttons using shapes, text, and images. We will also edit and deactivate an action button

Customizing Lists and Fonts

In this video, we will customize font size and text color, as well as bullets, and number and level lists.

Customizing & Importing Themes

In this video, you will edit the theme of a presentation by customizing the colors and the fonts in a theme. Then, you will import your customized theme into a new presentation.
