Jerry & Vickie MOYES Supply Chain Scholarship

The MOYES Supply Chain Scholarship of up to $7,000 is awarded to undergraduate supply chain management students who strive for academic excellence, support supply chain management (SCM) program activities and demonstrate the SCM program values of:

• Growth Mindset
• Professionalism
• Collaboration and Teamwork
• Integrity and Respect
• Service and Engagement

MOYES Supply Chain Scholars will receive $1,000 each semester for up to five semesters following completion of SCM 3050 or SCM 2050 and an additional $1,000 for completing up to two HIEE classes/experiences from the following list of classes:

• SCM 4700: Supply Chain Case Analysis, Logic, and Presentation, and/or competing on the Weber State Case Competition team at a national competition
• SCM 4840: Operations & Supply Chain Industry Projects
• SCM 4850: Supply Chain Management Study Abroad

MOYES scholars will have the opportunity to develop relationships with each other and faculty while interacting with industry professionals, the SCM Industry Partner Board members and alumni at events throughout the year. This is a fantastic networking opportunity.

We envision the MOYES scholars group to consist of up to 12 students spread across sophomore, junior and senior standing. We encourage students to apply while enrolled in, or after taking, SCM 3050: Operations and Supply Chain Management.

Since academic performance is highly weighted in the selection process, we recommend applying when you feel you have demonstrated your academic capability. 

Applicants must be a declared supply chain major at the time of application.

To be considered for the spring semester, your application must be received by Nov. 30.

To be considered for the fall semester, your application must be received by March 30.

In the event we have unfilled awards, we will consider applications received by Aug. 15 for the fall semester.

All applicants must complete the Scholarship Universe Application (please complete the first two pages) in order to receive an award. Completion of the FAFSA form is not required, but is highly encouraged for all students.

A selection committee, appointed by the Director of the Jerry & Vickie Moyes Center for Supply Chain Excellence, will review the application materials, conduct interviews and select MOYES Scholars before the start of the following semester.
