Hayley joined the Goddard School of Business and Economics as an Academic Advisor in 2025. She has a background in athletics advising, and a proven track record in developing individualized support plans for students. She is skilled in fostering relationships and mentoring students to fulfill personal and position goals while meeting guiding policies and procedures.

So how did academic advising become the goal? In her college career, Hayley experienced both poor and great advisors. As an undeclared freshman, she encountered an advisor who gave her forms to fill out but no suggestions as to how to approach an overwhelming course catalog. Without asking a single question, this advisor sent Hayley on her way. It wasn’t until she declared Public Relations as her major that she found advisors willing to dig into her goals and help her find solutions to scheduling problems and “bonuses” in the multi-answer puzzle that is university life. College should be a wonderful time of exploration and discovery, but it can also be overwhelming and confusing. Hayley wants to be the person that helps students find their way through a time of change and toward a successful college experience.
