About
François Carrier joined the Weber State University faculty in 2018 and is an associate professor of supply chain management and the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program director at the Goddard School of Business & Economics. François holds a doctorate degree in operations management from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from the Paris Institute of Technology.
Several years of managerial experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry have motivated and influenced François' research and teaching interests in environmental sustainability, supply chain management, project management, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. His work has been published in Management Science, the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, the International Journal of Production Economics, and the Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education. In the classroom, François is a passionate proponent of experiential learning and deliberate practice as a way to train the next generation of business professionals.
