LIST OF EXAMPLES OF ACTIVITIES TO CHOOSE FROM,
FOR TIME SPENT ON WELLNESS
(Physical, Mental, Spiritual)
- SWIMMING POOL
- EXERCISE EQUIPMENT AT THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION CENTER
- WEIGHT TRAINING
- VOLLEYBALL
- RACKET BALL
- TENNIS
- BASKETBALL
- AEROBICS
- BIKING (on campus)
- PARCOURSE
- WALKING (Dee Events Center concourse, main campus)
- STAIRS AT THE STADIUM
- JOGGING (in gym, or at Stadium track)
- READ AN ‘UPLIFTING’ BOOK AT THE LIBRARY
- TAKE A CLASS AS APPROVED PER THE WELLNESS PROGRAM -- There are many classes that would ‘work’ here. Classes that are grouped in Physical Education, Health Promotion, Nutrition, Art and Dance, would qualify. Some examples of classes that would qualify, are as follows:
- FITNESS FOR LIFE
- HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
- NUTRITION
- STRESS MANAGEMENT
- ART OF EMOTIONAL WELLNESS
- YOGA
- TAI CHI
- KARATE
- ART CLASS (ceramics, weaving, painting, metals/jewelry)
