WSU Honors Graduates at Fall 2021 Commencement

OGDEN, Utah – Over 3,573 Weber State University students have applied for graduation and will be honored during the 157th commencement ceremonies, Dec. 17, 2021, beginning at 8 a.m. 

“Graduation is the most exciting time at Weber State University, as it marks the pinnacle of a successful educational journey,” said President Brad Mortensen. “I congratulate each graduate for going ever upward toward a college degree and succeeding. Your success is Weber State’s success.” 

Graduates from both summer and fall semesters will be recognized.  The most popular majors are nursing, professional sales, computer science, criminal justice and medical laboratory sciences.

Each college will hold individual commencement ceremonies for their graduates and will have different speakers during their programs. All ceremonies will be held in person with an option to watch online.

The ceremonies will be held at various times throughout the day primarily at the Val A. Browning Center and the Dee Events Center.

All graduates attending college commencement ceremonies will receive pewter die-cast medallions with the presidential seal in honor of their hard work and achievements.

Tickets are not required; seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and parking is free. Graduates who need a special accomodation should contact Disability Services at 801-626-6413.
