Late Night at Weber, Foam Bash and Roller Disco Kick Off Fall Semester

The Weber State University Student Association, WSUSA, is hosting three fan-favorite events the first three Fridays of fall semester: Aug 27, Sept. 3, Sept. 10. To get students excited about being back at school, the association is hosting Late Night at Weber, Foam Bash, and Roller Disco.

“Whether it’s attending future activities, making new friendships, joining a club, or attending athletic events, the ultimate goal of the activities team is to get students involved so they can have the best college experience,” said Colette Mortensen, WSUSA vice president of activities. “By doing this, students can quickly meet new friends and make connections that immediately make Weber State feel like home.”

On August 27 at 8 p.m., students are invited to participate in “Late Night at Weber” at Wildcat Village. There will be activities such as henna artists, a climbing wall, photo booth, food trucks, a DJ, inflatables, and lawn games.

After the annual Block Party has wrapped up on Sept. 3 University Village will transform into a massive foam pit for the annual Foam Bash at 8 p.m. This year’s event includes a mechanical bull, glow paint Twister, airbrush tattoos, a black light foam pit and food trucks. This event is free and is open to all students.

The following Friday, Sept. 10 at 6:30 p.m., Weber State will step back a few decades to the days of Weber State College with leisure suits and a roller rink for Roller Disco in the Shepherd Union Ballrooms. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes.
