Why Choose This Program?

The LPT program is offered each semester and will certify you to sit for the Limited Practical Technologist exam through ARRT, which will allow you to begin working in the field.

Please note, that while the LPT courses will certify you through ARRT, this will not grant you a certificate of proficiency through Weber State University. Please see the Limited Radiographer Certificate of Proficiency Grad Map below.

Those most likely to benefit from our LPT program are students who are trying to gain a better understanding of the profession and whether this career fits their future goals.

Students who are LPT certified will receive additional points when applying for the WSU Radiography program.
