MSN Nursing Leadership and Management
Course Requirements

Program Details

Master’s students attend courses full-time for 3 semesters of study, 12-month, three straight semester program. Summer 2021 will be the next start and that program will go summer 2021, fall 2021 and spring 2022 and students will graduate April 2022 with their MSN Degree.

Course instruction is delivered in a 100% online format.

90-hour Executive Residency arranged in your surrounding community.

You must be highly motivated and recognize that the online learning process requires additional commitment, time and work. 

A scholarly project and nursing residency must be completed during your final semesters of study. The executive residency experience requires a total of 90 contact (clock) hours or approximately 6-7 hours per week.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Current UT RN license or for out-of-state applicants must be for eligible for licensure without restriction in the state of Utah
  • Working knowledge of statistics as utilized in research or administrative functions such as budgets, staffing, etc. Completion of an undergraduate statistics course or BSN research/statistics course within the past 5 years is highly recommended.
