MSN Nurse Educator and
Nursing Leadership and Management
Admissions and Selection

Admission into the WSU Master of Science, Nurse Educator & Nursing Leadership and Management Programs are selective. The admission and selection process occurs annually.

How to Apply

• The MSN program utilizes an online application process.
• It is critical that all parts of the application process be completed and submitted. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
• All applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing from a program that is accredited by one of the following agencies:
  • Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
  • Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)

Up to 15 positions available for the Educator Emphasis. Up to 15 positions available for the Leadership & Management Emphasis.

Applicants are reviewed according to a selection point system established by the WSU Master Degree Admissions Committee.

Applicant ranking includes:

• GPA
• Vita/resume
• Writing ability
• Veteran status
