Kevin is the lead for energy efficiency and building decarbonization programs, policy, and regulatory activities for Utah Clean Energy. Kevin has spearheaded efforts to pass local and state policies to enable innovative financing clean energy projects, improvements to energy codes for Utah homes and buildings, advanced energy transparency for residential, municipal and commercial buildings, and championed policies to expand electric vehicle incentives and infrastructure. He is a regular participant in Demand-side Management Advisory Groups for both Rocky Mountain Power and Dominion Energy. Previously, Kevin served as a public member of Utah’s Uniform Building Code Commission, a Co-Facilitator of the ILFI Great Basin Collaborative, a consultant on Salt Lake City’s Project Skyline and Elevate Buildings initiatives. He also co-chaired the Building Efficiency Committee for the State of Utah’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Plan, and served on the Energy Management Program Advisory Committee for Salt Lake Community College. Kevin graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Utah and an M.Sc. in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Edinburgh.
