Andie Madsen
Student and Activist, Utah Youth Environmental Solutions
Andie Madsen is a Freshman at Columbia University and a member of the Utah Youth Environmental Solutions Network. In 2020, Andie helped lead the Salt Lake Student Clean Energy team, successfully committing Salt Lake School District to 100% clean energy. Three years ago, she worked on passing the first resolution recognizing climate change in Utah and has been an organizer with Utah Youth Environmental Solutions for over two years on various campaigns and projects, specifically concerning School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration. She was a panel speaker at the Utah Environmental Education Conference and spoke about her experience being a youth activist.
