Heidi Goedhart works as the Active Transportation Manager with UDOT Planning. Heidi moved to Salt Lake City in 2006 with her bicycle at her side. In 2013, Heidi turned in her car keys and became a full-time bicycle commuter which has opened her eyes to the benefits and challenges non-vehicle owners face. She aspires to help design and cultivate transportation options in Utah that support resilient urban environments that focus on safety, health, and activity. Heidi uses her passion for active transportation and interest in its social, economic, and environmental benefits in her work with UDOT's Move Utah and Travelwise Programs.
