Wildcat Passwords

Weber State University students and employees are required to reset their Wildcat password once every four months (once a semester).  If a user's password expires, they will not be able to login to any WSU systems except Password Self-Service.

Password Self-Service

The Password Self-Service portal allows users to update their Wildcat password to meet WSU security requirements.  To reset your password, go to Password Self-Service at password.weber.edu and login with your Wildcat username and password.  Even if your password has already expired, you will still be able to login to Password Self-Service.  If you have forgotten your password, see the Forgot Your Password section below.

NOTE: When logging into Password Self-Service for the first time, password responses will need to be created (see the Password Responses section below).

Once logged in, you will be presented with the Password Self-Service menu:

To reset your password, click the Change Password link and proceed to reset your password following the listed requirements:

When successfully reset, a confirmation will appear saying your password has been changed.


Forgot Your Password

If you have forgotten your password, click the Forgotten Password link.

When entering your email, remember that student email addresses are formatted as: YourWildcatUsername@mail.weber.edu

NOTE: If you are unable to use the Forgotten Password screen to reset your password, go to the Get Your Wildcat Username screen to obtain a temporary password (this will not reset your username).


Password Responses

When logging into Password Self-Service for the first time, password responses will need to be created which will allow you to reset a forgotten or expired password.  You can also change your password responses at any time by choosing the Setup Password Responses link from the Password Self-Service menu.

When successfully reset, a confirmation will appear saying your password responses have been saved.

Please note: We do not give passwords out over the phone. If you need a password set manually, come into Lampros Hall Room 218 with picture ID.
