"You cannot fake your way through a bachelor's degree in Business Economics just like you cannot fake your way through a hundred mile race".
Parry Higginson, Current Economics Major

Economics provides general analysis of decision making where resource constraints are present. Within the social sciences, the field of economics is perhaps the most rigorous in terms of the use and application of mathematical and statistical reasoning.

A degree in economics opens up a wide range of career opportunities. Many students become financial analysts, sales account managers, bankers, actuaries, statisticians or work in retailing and industrial sectors of the economy.

This degree is excellent preparation for students looking to pursue an MBA or go on to law school.
