CLS Online Courses The online CLS program consists of both theory and project-based courses. See the WSU Course Catalog for a short description of each course. Most of the CLS online theory courses have two major components:
Credit Hour Requirements A total of 67 credit hours is required for graduation; 34 of these are required CLS courses, 21 are required support courses, and 12 are required general education courses. General Education Refer to General Requirements for Associate of Applied Science requirements. The following required courses will fulfill both program requirements and general education requirements in the Life and Physical Sciences areas (listed below under support courses required): CHEM PS/SI1110, CHEM PS/SI1210, HTHS LS1110, MICR LS1113, MICR LS/SI2054, and PHYS PS/SI1010. Remaining general education requirements can be fulfilled by taking the required 12 credit hours from each of the following areas: 6 credit hours Composition (ENG 1010 and 2010) Some requirements may be met by ACT, CLEP, and/or AP scores as designated by the university (contact the Admissions Office for more information). General education requirements for the AAS degree can be taken prior to or concurrently with the CLT program. However, you must complete all AAS general education requirements to earn the CLT degree. Course Requirements for AAS Degree You must be accepted into the CLT program to enroll in any of these courses.
